KIT 2020 Banner

Zahner Scientific Instruments is continuing its tradition and is holding its annual 29th Kronacher Impedanztage (KIT) –Kronach Impedance School- in March 2020! Thus, we cordially invite you and your colleagues to KIT 2020 in Kloster Banz / Bad Staffelstein in Germany.

KIT 2020 is ideal for students, scientists and industry professionals who are working with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). This international 3-days school consists of 1-day theory lectures and 2-days practical courses (total 12 practical courses). These lectures and practical courses will be conducted by renowned experts in the field of EIS and Zahner’s R&D specialists. During these 3-days, you will have the unique opportunity to widen your knowledge about EIS and its applications in many different fields like battery cycling, corrosion measurements, polarization, and many more.

During our practical courses various electrochemical systems from different fields

  • Batteries

  • Fuel Cells

  • Corrosion

  • Coatings

  • Monolithic, Organic and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

  • Photo-electrochemistry

  • Low and High Impedance Systems

will be investigated and evaluated.

During the practical courses, groups of up to 6 participants will be formed. These small groups will ensure a better exchange between instructor and participants. A special focus will be placed on the correct recording of the EIS data without artefacts and its analysis post-recording.

Furthermore, the opportunity of meeting Zahner R&D specialists and other like-minded researchers, scientists and industry professionals working on similar topics/problems make the KIT an important networking event.
