The Zahner PAD42 card adds four additional voltage channels for synchronous DC and AC measurements. The PAD42 card is an optimal addition to the IM7 potentiostat for stack measurements or segmented cells.
The PAD42 card is used in the fuel cell, electrolyzer stack and battery-pack investigations. In addition, it enables half-cell resolved measurements involving reference electrodes scheme.
Synchronous EIS measurements enable highly detailed measurement system behaviour either in-plane or throughout the stack. Up to 33 EIS signals can be recorded in a frequency range of 10 µHz to 1 MHz. 24-bit AD converters ensure high-quality EIS data.
Overview of PAD42 card variants:
PAD42-HC: for investigation of individual cells in a stack of up to ±150V
PAD42-HZ: for investigation of batteries with high-resistance reference electrodes or high-resistance objects
- Parallel EIS stack measurements
- 24-bit AD resolution on all channels
- Up to 33 channels for IM7x
- Up to 5 channels for IM7
- Incorporated with external potentiostats and electronic loads
