34th Kronach Impedance School

17.03. - 19.03.2025

Zahner is continuing its tradition and is holding its annual 34th Kronacher Impedanztage (KIT) – Kronach Impedance School! We cordially invite you and your colleagues to KIT 2025 in Kloster Banz / Bad Staffelstein in Germany.

Event Information

Zahner is staying true to its tradition and is organizing the 34th international Kronach Impedance School (Kronach Impedanztage: KIT). The 34th KIT will be a 3-day event.

The first KIT day will consist of theory lectures from Zahner’s experts.

The second KIT day will consist of 6 practical courses. These topics are prepared in such a way that they are of interest to every researcher, working in the field of impedance spectroscopy, irrespective of their research field. In the courses, different aspects of impedance spectroscopy will be discussed i.e., impedance spectra measurements for various kinds of test objects (high impedance and low impedance test objects). The common pitfalls of these measurements will be discussed and it will be demonstrated that how one can recognize these pitfalls and eliminate them from impedance measurements.

The third KIT day will consist of two parallel sessions which will focus on the following fields.

  1. Photoelectrochemistry and photovoltaics
  2. Fuel cells, electrolyzers and batteries

The KIT offers courses in the fields of batteries, fuel cells, corrosion, coatings, photoelectrochemistry, photovoltaics, and general electrochemistry. The KIT has a long history and has always been a favourite of the researchers working in the field of impedance spectroscopy. KIT is attended by participants from universities and industries, which makes the KIT a nice networking event. The KIT allows the participant to get to know Zahner’s experts and other researchers working in the same field.

In practical courses, groups of a maximum of 8 participants are made. This allows effective communication between the practical course supervisors and the KIT participants. Due to the limited number of participants, the KIT registration is carried out on a first-come, first-serve basis. So if you are interested in KIT then register as soon as possible.
