The CIMPS system uses monochromatic LEDs as light sources. The light sources are "plug and play", they are automatically detected by the software. Each LED delivered with the CIMPS system is individually calibrated to provide accurate illumination during the experiments.
Monochromatic LED
View productThe CIMPS system can be extended for different dedicated experiments. Extension options are listed below.
The CIMPS-ABS system allows spectral resolved transmission/absorption measurements and is designed for characterizing the electrochromic processes.
Learn moreTheCIMPS-EMIT system allows spectral resolved light emission measurements as used in investigation of electrochromic samples like OLEDs.
Learn moreTheCIMPS-FIT system allows fast light transient measurements (resolution down to 50 ns) and is designed for studying the fast kinetics in monolithic solar cells or photoelectrodes as well as organic LEDs and photosensors etc.
Learn moreThe CIMPS-MDTR/OIS system is used to characterize the dynamic properties of electrochromic systems like opacity or color switching time with a current or voltage excitation.
Learn morePhotoelectrochemical measurements are carried out in a controlled light environment. For this purpose, Zahner has designed a light exclusion box (LEB). This LEB can accommodate the complete optical bench with light source and sample. The LEB also serves as a Faraday cage and diminishes artefacts at low current measurements.
