Electronic Loads

Electronic loads are indispensable tools in several fields of electrochemistry, for example in the research of batteries and fuel cells. Using an additional external power supply you easily can extend an EL to a two-quadrant potentiostat you need e.g. in the field of electrolysis.


The electronic load EL300 is an one-quadrant potentiostat designed to sink currents up to 100 A at a total power of 100 W (air cooled) and up to 300 W (water cooled).


The EL1000 was designed to investigate single cells or complete stacks up to 100 V. Adding an additional external electronic load, the maximum current of 200 A can be raised up to 600 A and the corresponding power from 1000 W to 60 kW.
