CIMPS is an universal photo- and spectro-electrochemical workstation for a wide field of applications. You can easily extend the basic CIMPS system with various options for special fields of photo-electrochemical research.

Thales Software Package

The powerful Thales software package is part of the standard equipment of each IM6 and ZENNIUM system. It provides a multitude of measuring and analysis methods.

The Thales software provides unique features for the acquisition and analysis. The most prominent examples are SCRIPT and SIM. SCRIPT offers you to combine all types of electrochemical measurements, mathematical analysis, algorithms, documentation and data export to a reproducible, fully automatic process. With the outstanding features of SIM you are able to create equivalent circuits and fit the measurement data to these models. The ZHIT feature of SIM helps you to validate your impedance spectra.

For evaluation only it is also possible to run Thales Software Package on a Thalesbox. The Thalesbox provides a single user licence of Thales. So you can process your recorded data on a simple PC or Laptop meanwhile your tests still runs on the IM6 or ZENNIUM...

Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)

EIS measures the impedance of your test element at different frequencies. This impedance spectrum characterizes the individual partial elements of your test system.

Applications: Determine different parameters like diffuision capacity, ohmic resistance, and so on.

(Multi Cell)I/E Scans & Cyclic Voltammetry (IE, CV)

I/E and CV measures voltage current curves in many different modes.

Applications: Tafel Scans, CVs, steady-state-, sampling - & dynamic current/voltage scans, fast cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic/galvanostatic polarization, voltage/current vs. time, linear scans, multiple cell parallel dynamic I/E characteristics.

Single Frequency Impedance Measurement over Parameters (CE)

CE measures the impedance at a fixed frequency vs. other variable physical dimensions.

Applications: Fixed frequency impedance course vs. potential, current, time, temperature...

Universal Userdefined Measurements (PVI)

PVI allows voltage/current/time measurements in a userdefined way (steps, ramps, plateaus, loops, ...).

Equivalent Circuit Simulation & Model Fit (SIM)

Process time dependent spectra and analyze the parameter course of model series.

Import External ASCII Data (ALEX)

Automatize Measurements Script Server (SCRIPT)

Automatize combined measurement, analysis- and documentation tasks. Integrate situation dependent processing, branches, loops and so on.

Applications: SCRIPT enables each user to create his own procedure in an easy-to-learn BASIC-like language which uses a lot of powerful macro-commands. If needed, a complete set of andiBASIC commands is available. This makes measurements comfortable and easy to handle - even for untrained staff.

Call/Integrate SCRIPT Runtime Modules (EXE)

With EXE you can start SCRIPT runtime modules in an easy way.

CAD is the thales graphic editor for ICD-formated graphic files.

DC Cycling Script for Battery Applications with AC-EIS Spectroscopy During Ramps (BAT)

Battery Cycling is a script application for automated DC cycling with AC-EIS spectroscopy during ramps.

TCP/IP VI Remote Control Script

Normally, the IM6/ZENNIUM systems are controlled by the Thales software package which is optimized for measuring and analyzing electrochemical data. In addition, the IM-systems are prepared to be controlled by external software using the TCP/IP protocol. This is not limited to the local IM-PC but is also possible over network.

Application: Controlling the basic functions of a IM6 or ZENNIUM by a LabVIEW® VI over TCP/IP
