Spectroelectrochemistry

Spectroelectrochemistry combines an electrochemical measurement with optical detection, so one can correlate what happens at the electrode with changes in light emission, absorption or transmission. Zahner's CIMPS system can be extended with light spectrometers to cover these measurements, with a dedicated extension for each application.

All extensions run from the same CIMPS platform and Thales software, so one can combine the optical and electrochemical data in a single experiment.

CIMPS-EMIT

The CIMPS-EMIT system allows spectral-resolved light emission measurements in addition to the measurement of total light intensity. The CIMPS EMIT extension use spectrometer from National Lights.
